It goes without saying that I'm already starting to miss being home, and I haven't even left yet. It's been a good five weeks, with ups and downs and surprises in between. I'll be going back to Melbourne a little bit older, and not much wiser, but maybe with a little more razzmatazz. Just a tad.  

Count in the next two years and I'd have offically lived half of my entire life abroad. Twelve out of twenty four. Melbourne's nice, and not terribly exciting, and that's probably my fault for staying in too much and not actually bothering to get out of my stereotypical circles often enough. Give me a few more picnics, parties, and sponsored trips to Sydney and I'll come back a happy boy.

Mhmm I know what you mean. I'm such an anti-social right now and my circle of friends has dwindled to a miserable single figure.

I guess it's easy to fall into that kind of rut anywhere, especially when you think you have more important things to do -- like exams. I don't want to let my youth slip away.
